Parallax is a peer-reviewed open journal of political theology published by the Centre for Political Theology (CPT), Bangalore. The CPT is an initiative of the Christian Institute for the Study of Religion and Society (CISRS). This ecumenical organization has a long legacy of formulating theological responses to the socio-political issues in India since 1953. The CPT envisages a common platform for academicians, theologians, and the clergy to come together and discuss issues relating to politics and theology, and to promote creative political engagements for justice. Parallax publishes articles on political philosophy, political theology, and political hermeneutics.
